Work Experience
– Full time alternative

A fully supported work experience program as part of an alternative curriculum.
Personalised career support – addressing the needs of each pupil. Live labour market information (LMI) on available opportunities and trends.
Full employer engagement, offering extensive experience of the workplace. Helping
builds skills and ‘levelling up’ an individual’s career prospects. Helping reduce the threat of NEET and improve post-16 opportunities and develop links to further education.
Improves student social capital through engagement in community businesses and services, creating opportunities to become an asset to the community.
Work Experience

5 & 6
Supports schools to meet new government careers guidance for all KS4 students to obtain 2 weeks work experience.
Yes Careers provide access to job descriptions and risk assessments for over 30 different work environments. A comprehensive package developed over 15 years of supporting young people in work experience. This will help reducing time and the need for repetitive activities.
We can also assess the placement and visit the student during their time on work experience, providing safeguarding and reassurance for all.

Interactive & accessible for all levels of learning – can be used to suit a individuals needs.
Raising student awareness and understanding of the world of work.
Excellent tool to use as part of outreach work.

Our work ready course offers 3 step learning via videos & quizzes to supplement work experience and careers action planning as required.

Careers Action Plan

As careers management for students is becoming a bigger challenge, we have developed a careers action plan program that gives access for all, and offers real time action plan targets.
An online toolkit for school career leads and career professionals to manage and develop student career action plans. It can also be used in-line with our support to provide personalised careers advice and live market information.
Easy to update and add to, providing a live view of students’ career progression.
Useful when working with students who are not engaging with school.
Accessed via a personal student portal, it allows students to take ownership of their career plan and can also help improve, parent/carer engagement.

Anger management through boxing is a very successful way of managing students who have disengagement and anger issues.

Additional Functional Skills support
Similar in style to our work ready course, we provide on-line lessons with quizzes and videos to help those struggling to grasp the concept of maths and english, learn in a way that allows them to tackle level 1 and 2 exams.
